Highlighted Roles
Product Designer II
While taking on a product design role as an independent contributor (IC), I was responsible for the design of many features for pilots in both personal and military aviation. I designed a set of iconography for the Ukrainian Army that was instrumental in the ongoing effort and worked on many complex mapping interfaces for weather-related features such as winds, icing and turbulence.
Jeppesen ForeFlight
Experience Design Lead
At Wieden + Kennedy, I worked diligently to promote awareness of the practice of experience design within an integrated agency setting, taking it from a mere add-on or extension to one of the core components in the overall deliverable. I built and managed a UX team, as well as co-managed a multi-disciplinary team made up of Creative Tech, Design and UX.
Wieden + Kennedy
R/GA
Interaction Designer
As an interaction designer at R/GA, I designed mobile, in-store and web experiences for brands such as Nike Running/Nike+. My other focus was mobile and new business, creating winning pitches for clients such as Hewlett Packard. I designed the user experience for the J&J Baby.com Mobile Birth Announcements - first of it’s kind, which won the mobile James E. Burke Award.
Beyond Design
Speaking
I’ve spoken at conferences and other events on the topic of quantified health and emerging platforms, including SXSW Interactive, Microsoft Design Expo and Mobilefest Brazil.
My work in data tracking and wearable devices has been showcased both in the US and internationally, on television, galleries, blogs and newspaper articles, including SBT News Channel, Atualíssima, Engadget, Wired and Popgadget.
Teaching
I taught a graduate-level multimedia class at Manhattanville College for several semesters and lectured at both Cooper Union and the School of Art + Design at Purchase College, SUNY.
I’ve been a mentor for designers throughout my career, in both user experience design and product design.
