My journey to where I am today began with print design, studying graphic design and typography until I discovered interactivity through web design and learned to code. I worked for a few years after graduating college before returning to school to earn my masters degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at NYU. I began designing mobile interfaces for start-ups before joining R/GA as a full-time interaction designer.
I’ve taught design courses at The Cooper Union and Manhattanville College. I’ve managed teams and been a mentor for aspiring designers throughout my career.
I have spoken at conferences and other events on the topic of quantified health and emerging platforms, including SXSW Interactive, Microsoft Design Expo and Mobilefest Brazil. My work in data tracking and wearable devices has been showcased both in the US and internationally, on television, galleries, blogs and newspaper articles, including SBT News Channel, Atualíssima, Engadget, Wired and Popgadget.
